PROROGATIONS
The validity of all identity documents and driving and nautical licenses expiring on March 18, 2020 are extended until August 31, 2020. Postponed to October 31 the revisions of cars due by July 31, 2020.
Contributions for domestic work
The payment of contributions for babysitters, domestic helpers and caregivers, due between February 23, 2020 and May 31, 2020 is postponed to June 10, 2020 without any delay or penalty.
SUSPENSIONS
First home mortgage
For mortgages taken out for at least 12 months, on a non-luxury house, with a value of over 250,000 euros, it is possible to interrupt the payment of installments for the following categories :
-self-employed and freelancers with a reduction in turnover, recorded after February 21, 2020, greater than 33% compared to the last quarter of 2019;
-employees who have suffered a reduction in working hours of at least 20%, for a period of more than 30 days.
ENABLEMENTS
Parental leave
All employees enrolled in the separate management scheme may apply for this facility. It is possible to request extraordinary parental leave only if both parents of a child under 12 years of age work. Only one parent can request parental leave, which cannot exceed 15 days with salary halved by 50%. The reference period can also be prior to sending the request but not before March 5, 2020.
Babysitter voucher
Employees enrolled in the separate management, regardless of the number of children, can apply for a voucher for a maximum amount of € 600. In the case of parents of workers in health care or in the defense, public rescue or security sectors, the maximum amount is raised to € 1,000. There are no income limits and the aid is cumulative and compatible with the activation of smart-working.
